Circuit of The Americas

Circuit of The Americas is a premier destination for world-class motorsports and entertainment in the United States. Situated in Texas, just nine miles from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and less than 15 miles from downtown Austin, it is more than just a track. It is designed to be the only purpose-built facility in the U.S. to host the FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX™ through 2026. The venue is poised to draw hundreds of thousands of fans from around the world and be seen by approximately 30 million television viewers across the globe for the FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX™. It will also host other high-profile motorsports events such as MotoGP and NASCAR, as well as entertainment and business events each year. Furthermore, COTA will focus on sustainability, aiming to be a leader in this area within the major event venues and motorsports industry. Established in 2011 and headquartered in the United States, the latest investment in Circuit of The Americas was in the form of a $81.00M Debt Financing round on 22 March 2016. The company has not disclosed the investors for this round. The fact that the FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX™ is anticipated to attract as many as 400,000 people each Grand Prix weekend, with an estimated 80 percent of attendees coming from outside Texas, showcases the significant potential for growth and success for this venture.
