Chromatic 3D Materials is a 3D-printing technology company that specializes in the production of industrial-strength elastomers through a more flexible, cost-effective, and sustainable manufacturing process. The company's portfolio includes printable polyurethanes and other thermoset elastomers for a wide range of applications including transportation, industrial seals and gaskets, textiles, medical devices, and defense. Chromatic's proprietary RX-AM™ materials and technology platform are based on Reactive Extrusion Additive Manufacturing, a form of deposition 3D printing that utilizes chemical reactions.
Founded in 2016 by CEO Dr. Cora Leibig, Chromatic now operates facilities in the US and Germany, serving over 50 customers and development partners worldwide. The company recently secured a $4.93M Venture Round investment on October 12, 2021, with participation from Golden Seeds, Embedded Ventures, Excelestar Ventures, Das & Co., and Oyat Assurances.
