Children's Sickle Cell Foundation, Inc. is the only organization in the United States region uniquely committed to the well-being of children with sickle cell disease and their families. Established in 2002, the foundation's mission is to provide social, educational, and economic support for children with sickle cell disease (SCD) and their families. They are dedicated to bringing quality programs to affected children and families, along with their commitment to sickle cell disease and sickle trait outreach, as well as support for sickle cell disease research. The recent $50.00K grant investment on 13 July 2022 from The GBT Foundation further demonstrates recognition and support for the essential work of the Children’s Sickle Cell Foundation, Inc.
