CERTA - UAB is a research center at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, founded in 1999, dedicated to the development research and transfer of technology to the food industry. Their main field is the application of emerging technologies and processes for the improvement of food safety and nutritional value of the products. The intention of CERTA - UAB is to transfer this technology to food enterprises to help them become more competitive and profitable, enabling them to produce and commercialize new products that are safer and healthier with improved stability. Their headquarters is in Spain.
