The Central States VHF Society (CSVHFS) is a not-for-profit organization established in 1960 to promote amateur radio operation above 50 MHz. With a membership of around 300, predominantly in the Midwest states but also reaching the Atlantic Coast, the West Coast, Canada, and several foreign countries, CSVHFS has a broad reach within the amateur radio community.
CSVHFS hosts an annual Technical Conference focused on elevating the technical proficiency of amateurs. This conference serves as a platform for presenting technical papers related to VHF, UHF, and Microwave, as well as discussing operating practices, modes such as EME, MS, FAI, and E-skip, and other topics that encourage operation on Amateur bands above 50MHz.
The proceedings from these conferences are published by the ARRL and are available for purchase. The organization operates within the IT and Telecom industries, with no recent disclosed investment activities or known headquarters location.
