Center for Spectrum Services

Center for Spectrum Services is a pioneer health care organization that has been brightening the lives of people with autism since its inception in 1976. Started by Susan Buckler and Jamey Wolff, the organization has come a long way from its humble beginnings in a church basement, evolving into a model school that is highly esteemed for its research-based educational practices. The center caters to children aged eighteen months to twelve years with autism spectrum disorders and related developmental disabilities, offering a wide range of programming in Kingston and Ellenville, including full day programs and intensive staff/student ratios. Their services extend beyond the classroom, encompassing special education, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and adaptive services. Moreover, Spectrum Services offers outreach programs, providing clinicians and educators with expertise in autism through diagnostic evaluations, developmental assessments, and early intervention services. The organization also conducts workshops, conferences, and seminars aimed at disseminating best practices for treating autism. With an emphasis on innovative strategies to promote verbal behavior, social, and academic skills, Center for Spectrum Services remains at the forefront of providing comprehensive support and guidance for individuals with autism and their families.
