CEI-Comitato Elettrotecnico Italiano

CEI-Comitato Elettrotecnico Italiano is a non-profit association established in 1909, recognized by the Italian State and the European Union for its regulatory and technical-scientific culture dissemination activities. CEI's norms define technical standards for products, processes, and systems, serving as a reference for compliance with the "state of the art" presumption. The organization's harmonized European technical standards legally satisfy Italian legislation requirements. CEI's mission as a neutral body encompasses the formulation of technical regulatory documents, participation in the development and adoption of harmonized European regulatory documents, involvement in international standardization, and the promotion of technical-scientific culture and standardization.
