CEGA - Canadian Energy Geoscience Association

CEGA - Canadian Energy Geoscience Association is a prominent organization dedicated to advancing the professions of the energy geosciences in Canada. Established in 1927, the association's mission revolves around fostering scientific, technical learning, and professional development within the energy geosciences sector, particularly in relation to geology. With a strong emphasis on advancing the scientific, technical, and professional development opportunities for its members, CEGA has set out five goals to further its mission. These include continually applying and adapting digital communication for knowledge dissemination, encouraging scientific advancements in geology related to petroleum and other energy geosciences, fostering a sense of pride and community among Canadian Energy Geoscientists, and bolstering the national recognition and prestige of the Society both within Canada and internationally.
