CECIMO

CECIMO is the European Association of Manufacturing Technologies, focusing on machine tools and additive manufacturing. It brings together 15 national associations, representing approximately 1500 industrial enterprises in Europe, with over 80% being SMEs. Covering 97% of the total machine tool production in Europe and about 1/3 worldwide, CECIMO accounts for approximately 150,000 employees and a turnover of around 25.3 billion euros in 2022. As an umbrella organization dedicated to promoting the common interests and values of European manufacturing technologies, it plays a pivotal role in fostering their development across various domains such as economy, technology, and innovation. Established in 1950, CECIMO works tirelessly at both EU and global levels and has been instrumental in shaping the strategy and enhancing the global competitiveness of European machine tools and additive manufacturing for over seven decades.
