CDS Eau & Energie
Founded in 1980, CDS is a socially responsible enterprise working to provide access to water and electricity services for all, particularly in underserved rural areas. CDS provides optimized solutions through renewable energies, from autonomous kits to custom hybrid systems.
As a leader in solar energy in Mauritania, CDS operates in three complementary business areas: serving 40,000 beneficiaries in over 60 different locations, engaging with 40 local suppliers and partners, and creating 50 permanent jobs.
Today, about two billion people lack access to energy sources, depriving them of essential services such as clean water, education, and healthcare. This situation calls for unprecedented mobilization, and renewable energies can play a decisive role in addressing these global challenges.
