Canadian Coalition of Women in Science, Engineering, Trades and Technology (CCWESTT)

The Canadian Coalition of Women in Science, Engineering, Trades and Technology (CCWESTT) is a vibrant network offering a strong, unified voice for gender equity in science, engineering, trades, and tech. Founded in 1992 and headquartered in Canada, CCWESTT is a leader and voice of a national community for women in Science, Engineering, Trades, and Technology. Proudly promoting girls and women studying and working in these fields, CCWESTT celebrates and values the contributions of women in all spheres of SETT. As a national organization with individual and organizational memberships, CCWESTT builds alliances and partnerships that support and celebrate a diverse SETT workforce. From education to retention and leadership, CCWESTT empowers and supports women in these fields through conferences, professional development opportunities, networking, mentorship relationships, and being a voice for women in SETT in Canada. The last investment of $722.59K was a grant investment on October 31, 2023, provided by Women and Gender Equality Canada. This investment reflects a growing recognition and support for CCWESTT's mission in advancing gender equity in SETT fields.
