CAMP (Children's Association for Maximum Potential)

CAMP (Children's Association for Maximum Potential) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing recreational experiences for individuals with special needs. Established in 1979, CAMP's mission is to create a supportive environment where everyone can succeed. With a wide range of year-round programs, they cater to over 1,000 individuals with special needs, offering recreational and respite opportunities as well as education initiatives for the community. The Summer CAMP, May-August, is a flagship program with over 850 campers participating in traditional camp activities modified to meet their individual needs. Moreover, the Respite Club, September – May, provides support through monthly weekend camps, evening events, and day outings. CAMP's efforts have a profound impact, alleviating various barriers for more than 1,500 campers, contributing to their independence, self-confidence, and social integration.
