Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to transform communities and change kids' lives through baseball and softball themed programs. Founded in 2001 by Cal and Bill Ripken in honor of their father, who imparted valuable life lessons through sports, the foundation aims to provide disadvantaged young people in America’s distressed communities with character-building experiences. Partnering with successful youth organizations, the foundation has reached hundreds of thousands of kids across the country.
