Café Joyeux is the first family of café-restaurants and a brand of specialty coffees and exceptional teas, whose profits contribute to the employment and training of people with mental and cognitive disabilities. The company aims to make disabilities visible, promote interaction by providing employment in regular environments for those distanced from the job market, and build a profitable model that leverages differences as strengths. Café Joyeux is a social enterprise with ESUS certification, non-denominational, apolitical, and without any specific ideology. It is fully owned by Emeraude Solidaire, a non-profit organization dedicating all its value creation to disability inclusion in all its forms. The mission is centered on putting disabilities at the heart of our cities and lives, by working together with vulnerabilities, promoting the interaction with differences, and cooking, serving, and sharing joyfully. The cafés-restaurants of Café Joyeux are located in Rennes, Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, Tours, Westfield Parly 2, Montpellier, Lisbon, and Brussels. For more information, visit www.cafejoyeux.com.
