CADF S.p.A. - La Fabbrica dell'Acqua is an Italian company established in 1994 as a result of the merger between Consorzio Acquedotto Basso Ferrarese (CABF) and Consorzio Intercomunale Acquedotto di Copparo (CIA), forming Consorzio Acque Delta Ferrarese (CADF). In January 2001, the consortium was transformed into a joint-stock company, becoming CADF S.p.a. The company holds the complete management of the integrated water cycle - aqueduct, sewerage, and purification - of the Municipality of Comacchio and manages the integrated water service in the municipalities of Berra, Codigoro, Comacchio, Copparo, Formignana, Goro, Jolanda di Savoia, Lagosanto, Massafiscaglia, Mesola, Migliarino, Migliaro, Ostellato, Ro Ferrarese, and Tresigallo until 2024.
With its Environmental Education Center, "La Fabbrica dell'Acqua," CADF is dedicated to providing training and information in schools within the territory, organizing annual cycles of playful educational activities for children. With a focus on sustainability and the water industry, CADF is positioned at the forefront of managing and promoting sustainable water resources in Italy.
