Bore Place offers a unique solution for all your off-site, training and development needs. A historic, grade II listed manor and organic estate nestled in the beautiful Weald of Kent countryside, just 35 miles from London, providing a peaceful and inspiring space for professional and personal development, with overnight accommodation for 50. The site comprises a variety of historical buildings surrounded by beautiful organic gardens, sustainably managed woodlands and ponds. The company is working towards zero-carbon living and farming, with wood-chip, wood pellet, solar thermal, solar PV, and wind installations to help power and fuel the center. The commitment to providing organic and seasonal food is a stand out feature of visits. Established in 1976, as a non-profit organization committed to exploring ways of living sustainably, Bore Place runs education programs for schools and disadvantaged young people; the venue's profits are channeled into this. While staying, bespoke activities and programs such as bread baking, nighttime walks, or farm tours can be arranged.
Bore Place is the home of the Commonwork Trust, a registered charity and company, and Commonwork Organic Farms Ltd. The company's dedication to sustainability, organic living, and education aligns with the growing emphasis on renewable energy and responsible business practices. Its historic location and commitment to sustainable living make it an intriguing prospect for investors interested in impactful ventures.
