Boly Inc. is a global designer and manufacturer of state-of-the-art imaging and renewable energy technology, with a focus on trail cameras, action cameras, security cameras, ultrasonic motors, and optical zooms. The company was founded in 2000 by Dr. Xiaoping Hu in California and initially funded by venture capital Acorn Campus of the U.S. and Hyundai of Korea. In 2008, Chenwei Venture became one of the major investors in the company. Boly Media Communications (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. operates as a subsidiary of BMC.

With a series of world-leading patents on image processing, including SuperScaling and no-loss data compression, BMC has established BolyRAW high-quality image processing technologies. Its major products include digital scouting cameras, security cameras, ultrasonic motors, and optical zooms, and it has gained traction in the U.S., Europe, and Greater China while rapidly expanding globally.

In collaboration with Tsinghua University, Boly has invented the world’s most compact piezoelectric motor, covering diameters of 3-12mm and applicable to markets such as optical lens, automotive, robotics, and medical equipment.

Boly also produces auto-focus camera modules for mobile phones, driven by the patented piezoelectric motor, excelling in cost, dimension, pixels (3-5MP), and reliability. With a series of world-leading patents and modern manufacturing processes, Boly is positioned at the forefront of the substantial camera module market, particularly in China, which exceeds 100 million units alone.
