BOCAhealth is a Germany-based startup founded in 2018 with the slogan "The body fluids management company of the future." Founded by two medical doctors, the company aims to address the monitoring and management needs of patients with heart failure and kidney disease. The idea stemmed from the personal experience of one of the co-founders, Alessandro, whose father suffered from heart failure and faced difficulties in body water management.
BOCAhealth offers a solution for monitoring, predicting, and preventing cardiovascular events caused by body water through a combination of simple hardware and powerful software driven by artificial intelligence. With its focus on Health Care, Mobile, and Sports industries, the company recently secured a €50.00K grant investment from EIT Health on 19 June 2020.
