Bay Area Community Health

Bay Area Community Health is a healthcare startup with a vision to ensure access to high-quality, comprehensive, and affordable health care for everyone in the community. The company's mission is centered around delivering exceptional health and social services to improve the quality of life for individuals, families, and communities. Founded in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, Bay Area Community Health (BACH) brings together the strengths of Tri-City Health Center and Foothill Community Health Center, with over 70 years of combined service in southern Alameda County and Santa Clara County.

Before the formation of BACH, Tri-City Health Center had been a central force in providing health services to the Fremont community for 50 years, while Foothill Community Health Center had been serving low-income families and individuals in East San Jose since 1996. These organizations have now amalgamated to serve more than 100,000 people, providing high-quality healthcare services, regardless of immigration status, ethnicity, disabilities, or ability to pay.

The core values of Bay Area Community Health (BACH) revolve around equality, commitment, community, respect, and excellence. The company's commitment to advocating and strengthening the service model of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) is reflected in its dedication to providing equitable care for all.
