Banque Centrale Populaire - BCP is a mutualist and universal financial group that draws its strength from the unique values of solidarity and mutualism deeply embedded in its organization and unique functioning in Morocco. The group comprises Regional Popular Banks (BPR) with a cooperative vocation, Banque Centrale Populaire - the central body in the form of a publicly traded company, specialized subsidiaries, foundations, and banks and representations abroad.

The Regional Popular Banks are in cooperative form, representing the institutional singularity of the group within the Moroccan banking system. Key characteristics include the fact that the capital of BPR is held by their customer shareholders and by Banque Centrale Populaire, with the community of shareholders represented by the Supervisory Board responsible for monitoring and controlling the activities of the BPR.

Since its listing on the stock exchange on July 8, 2004, Banque Centrale Populaire (BCP) has acted notably as the central clearing house of the Group, managing the treasury surpluses of the Regional Popular Banks and ensuring refinancing as well as managing common interest services for the account of the Bank's organisms.
