Banfi Official is a family-owned wine producer, based in Tuscany, and renowned as the "Builders of Brunello." Founded in 1978 by the Mariani family, the company has established a sprawling 2,830-hectare estate, with a significant portion dedicated to specialized vineyards as well as other agricultural activities. The medieval Poggio alle Mura Castle, acquired in 1983, has been meticulously restored and now serves as a flagship for regional hospitality. Additionally, Banfi expanded its reach by acquiring the historic Piedmontese winery Bruzzone, now known as Banfi Piemonte, which showcases a commitment to growth, typicity, technological innovation, and quality sparkling wines.
