Ballet Hispánico

**Ballet Hispánico** is the leading Latinx dance organization in America, known for its innovative dance performances, transformative training, and community engagement experiences. Founded in **1970** by National Medal of Arts recipient, **Tina Ramírez**, the organization has been a cultural sanctuary for Black and Brown Latinx youth in New York City. The company has thrived through its three main programs: the Company, School of Dance, and Community Arts Partnerships, providing a platform for historically omitted artists. **Ballet Hispánico** received a grant investment from **Bloomberg Philanthropies** on **14 July 2021**. With its mission to celebrate and explore Latinx cultures, the organization serves as a catalyst for change and possibility in communities throughout the United States.
