Badminton World Federation (BWF) is the international governing body for the sport of badminton, established in 1934 as the International Badminton Federation (IBF) and rebranded as BWF in 2006. Recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), BWF's mission is to regulate, promote, develop, and popularize badminton globally.
