ATX Energy Partners is a private oil and gas company driven by the mission of pioneering the future of energy through innovative technologies and strategic resource development. Founded in 2017 and based in Austin, Texas, it was established by former management team members of Brigham Resources, LLC. Their expertise lies in using advanced technologies to identify and develop unconventional, liquids-rich resource plays. At the time of the sale in February 2017, Brigham Resources was producing 8,500 barrels of oil equivalent per day from its 80,185 net acres in Pecos and Reeves counties, Texas. The management team boasts a history of identifying, acquiring, and developing early-stage domestic resource plays. Before Brigham Resources, some members of this team managed the identification and development of approximately 375,000 net acres in the Williston Basin by Brigham Exploration Company, sold to Statoil ASA for $4.4 billion in December 2011. Currently, ATX is assessing resource opportunities in the U.S. Lower 48 states. Historically, the team has focused on early-stage opportunities that lack significant horizontal drilling validation but is also open to partially delineated prospects that haven't yet fully capitalized on optimal drilling and completion strategies. The Permian Basin and the Williston Basin are prominent options. Additionally, ATX is exploring opportunities in select basins in the Rockies. The company's last investment was a Private Equity Round investment at 15 December 2017, with funding from Warburg Pincus, Pine Brook Partners, and Yorktown Partners. This funding reflects the confidence of renowned investors in the potential of ATX Energy Partners within the oil and gas industry.
