Atlantic Community, founded in 2004, aims to foster open, inclusive, and solution-oriented dialogue on the common challenges faced by transatlantic partners. The organization believes that a strong transatlantic bond can only thrive with broad, inclusive participation. It is committed to breaking the traditional foreign policy circle and involving diverse voices from various backgrounds and expertise in transatlantic discussions. This approach seeks to develop a narrative that assembles a wide majority in support of US-German and US-European partnerships.

One of the core principles of Atlantic Community is the need to communicate both commonalities and differences between the USA, Germany, and Europe openly and honestly. By doing so, the organization aims to pave the way for sustainable, strategic cooperation in the transatlantic bond suitable for the challenges of the 21st century. The Managing Board of Atlantic Community comprises Philipp Mühl as Chair, Vanessa Hungeling as Vice-Chair, and Joseph Verbovszky as Treasurer.
