Established in 2003 as Optim, the company specializes in the development of eco-friendly adhesives that are also human-friendly. ASSEMS has continuously grown in the field of adhesives and now produces environment-friendly film-adhesives using solvent-free methods. Their primary focus was on the shoe industry, and they have successfully expanded their business to include bags, clothes, motorcars, and electric products, with Nike as one of their key clients. The company's three major business areas include the production of hot-melt film, laminating and coating of fabrics with their film, and the production of hot-melt laminating machines. ASSEMS prides itself on providing a full package service to customers for bonding and laminating, with a strong focus on environmental preservation in line with global initiatives such as the Kyoto protocol and the Copenhagen climate change conference. The company received a Venture Round investment on 01 December 2013 from STIC Ventures.
