ASKA is an aviation company that was founded in 2018 with its headquarters in Mountain View, California. The company has developed the ASKA™️ A5 drive & fly eVTOL, which is the world's first flying car capable of both road and air travel, featuring vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) and short takeoff and landing (STOL) capabilities. ASKA™ A5 has achieved significant milestones, including obtaining the Certificate of Authorization (COA) and Special Airworthiness Certification from the FAA for conducting flight testing and research and development. Notably, it is the first roadable aircraft to initiate the type certification process with the FAA. The company has successfully conducted more than 350 tethered flight tests, and the ASKA™ A5 has undergone more than 500 miles of drive testing on public roads. The aircraft is designed to meet high safety standards and boasts a 250-mile flight range.
