Ashoka Deutschland gGmbH

Ashoka Deutschland gGmbH is a social entrepreneurship organization founded in 2003 with a mission to support individuals in implementing ideas that rethink our societal coexistence. They identify and accompany societal change pioneers, commonly known as Social Entrepreneurs, and build networks with various partners and supporters to empower these change-makers. Their vision is to create a world where everyone can be a Changemaker and where individuals feel invited and capable of making a difference. They are preparing for the Ashoka Changemaker Summit 2024, an international meeting of social entrepreneurs, young people, and leaders from companies, government, and philanthropy who share the vision for a world where everyone feels capable of shaping society. The summit is scheduled to take place from 5th to 7th September 2024 in partnership with the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. The primary focus of this gathering is to enhance cohesion and quality of life, emphasizing the importance of genuine participation for everyone in creating positive change. They refer to this initiative as #EchteTeilhabe.
