ASD Turkish Packaging Manufacturers Association (ASD) is the umbrella organization of Turkish packaging industry, founded in 1992 by 39 packaging manufacturers. Since its establishment, the association has experienced substantial growth, currently boasting over 240 industrial members. ASD’s main objectives revolve around advancing the Turkish packaging industry, providing it with a distinct identity, representing it on national and global stages, fostering solidarity among members, and strengthening their unity. ASD's diverse membership encompasses companies engaged in various packaging materials and machinery production, such as flexible plastic, rigid plastic, glass, metal, paper, wood packaging, as well as packaging machinery, labels, closures, and raw materials. Notably, ASD holds memberships in WPO, APF, and IAPRI, representing its commitment to global cooperation and presence. Furthermore, as a founding member of ASDF, the Federation of Packaging Manufacturers Associations in Turkey, ASD holds a pivotal position in the packaging landscape.
