Aristotle Space & Aeronautics Team (ASAT) is a pioneering force in Aerospace student competitions, with a strong focus on Aeronautics and Rocketry. Founded in November 2015 by a group of Mechanical Engineering students at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), ASAT has received support from the Laboratory of Fluid Mechanics & Turbomachinery of AUTh’s Mechanical Engineering Department. The team, comprising students from diverse academic backgrounds, has excelled in global competitions. ASAT's Aeronautics Project has achieved the 10th and 12th place in the Air Cargo Challenge (A.C.C.) 2019 and is currently working on innovative projects such as a Solar UAV for wildfire prevention. The Rocketry Project, initiated in October 2016, has designed rockets reaching an apogee of 10000ft A.G.L and is gearing up for participation in the Spaceport America Cup (S.A.C.), the largest student rocket competition. After propelling the AcubeSAT Project, ASAT's efforts in nano-satellite creation evolved into a new team named SpaceDot. ASAT aims to propagate aerospace sciences within the Greek academic community, underlining a journey of knowledge, cooperation, and enjoyment. This Greece-based startup displays considerable potential in the manufacturing sector, representing an exciting opportunity for potential investors.
