AOne is a B2C marketplace and B2B school SAAS software based in Malaysia, with a mission to connect anyone who likes to teach with anyone who likes to learn. The company focuses on three branches of services: AOneSchool - school management software, AOnePay - automated monthly fee collection solution, and AOneMarketplace - an online marketplace for local classes and lessons. The idea for AOne stemmed from the founder, Dr. Darren Gouk's experience as a PhD student, facing challenges in recruiting students to tutor on a part-time basis. This led to the creation of the first website, My AOne Tutor, to help students find tutors without intermediaries. As AOne’s partner centers grew more successful, the company expanded its services to include cloud-based management (AOneSchool) and automated fee payment solutions (AOnePay). The company has plans to replicate its systems and services in other Southeast Asian markets, with a vision to bring significant impact to the education industry. AOne aims to create a product that benefits the community.
