ANGOKA is a UK-based cybersecurity startup, established in 2019, that focuses on securing M2M communications for Smart Cities and Mobility. Their slogan, "Embedding Trust Into Connected Devices," highlights their mission to ensure secure and trusted connections in the IoT ecosystem. With headquarters in Belfast and offices in London and The Hague, ANGOKA provides solutions to protect the identities of IoT devices in the face of the growing number of vulnerable networks. Their efforts aim to safeguard critical machine-to-machine communication integrity and data provenance, even in untrustworthy networks.

The company has received notable recognition, being the only cybersecurity company selected for Zenzic’s CAM Scale-Up Programme in partnership with Plug and Play and also the first NI startup to be chosen for NCSC’s Cyber Accelerator. Additionally, ANGOKA is an alumnus of Seraphim Space Camp, Yes!Delft, and TechNation Cyber 2.0. ANGOKA has also been awarded several Innovate UK R&D projects, including those focused on securing quantum communications led by BT and two drone projects.

Recently, ANGOKA secured a £2.40MSeed Round investment on 08 November 2022. This investment round was supported by 24Haymarket, Clarendon Fund Managers, and GALLOS Technologies, signifying the confidence that investors have in ANGOKA’s innovative cybersecurity solutions.
