Amex Exploration Inc. (AMX-TSX.V) has made a significant gold discovery in Quebec on its Perron Gold project. The company holds 100% ownership of the high-grade Perron Gold Project, covering 4,560 hectares with 117 contiguous claims, located approximately 110 kilometers north of Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. The project benefits from its strategic location with access to existing infrastructure, including a year-round road, proximity to an airport, and close proximity to major gold producers' milling operations. The project exhibits both bulk tonnage and a high-grade gold style mineralization. Notable drill results include 47.70 m of 16.97 g/t Au from high grade zone down strike, which also includes exceptional intervals such as 53.11 g/t Au over 13.20 m and 614.74 g/t Au over 0.50 m. Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Canada, the company received a post-IPO equity investment of $49.61M on February 17, 2022. The investors associated with this investment are not disclosed.
