Air Italy is an Italian airline founded in 1963 and fully owned by AQA Holding (51% Alisarda and 49% Qatar Airways). Headquartered in Olbia with its main operating base in Milan Malpensa, the company started operations under the Air Italy brand in March 2018.
Since then, Air Italy has been expanding its domestic and international routes, adding new destinations and focusing on increasing its long-range flights. With a network that includes both domestic and international flights, the airline serves a diverse set of destinations including New York, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, Accra, Cairo, Dakar, Lagos, the Maldives, Mombasa, Sharm El-Sheikh, Tenerife, and Zanzibar.
Currently, Air Italy operates a fleet of eight Boeing 737 and five Airbus A330 aircraft. The most recent investment in the company was a Private Equity Round in January 2006, with Synergo Capital being the investor.
Operating in the transportation industry from Italy, Air Italy aims to provide innovative travel experiences with its slogan "Imagine The World Differently."
