AIGA San Francisco is the professional association for design, representing a diverse and inclusive community in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, North and East Bay, and the greater Bay Area. Founded in 1983, it addresses social, ethical, and professional challenges in design, advocating for gender parity and embracing diversity. Led by an Executive Director/CEO and a volunteer board of directors, their initiatives include Designing Products, Mentorship Programs, Networking Events, and Women in Leadership & Design (WILD). The WILD program aims to amplify the visibility and power of women and non-binary designers, offering opportunities for connection, education, and collaboration. AIGA San Francisco is a hub for networking, professional development, and discourse in the local design community.
