AIDS Care Ocean State (ACOS) is Rhode Island's largest AIDS Service Organization, dedicated to providing housing, case management, medical & nursing care, and prevention to individuals and families affected by or at risk for HIV infection. ACOS advocates for those at risk and provides essential support services to ensure a high quality of life for its beneficiaries. With a history dating back to 1987, ACOS has established itself as a trusted and valued part of the community, leading the fight against HIV/AIDS. Currently serving over 500 families, ACOS is committed to ensuring everyone has the right to quality healthcare and equal access to HIV prevention, treatment, and support. The organization's vision is a world with no new HIV infections, where individuals living with HIV/AIDS experience support, equality, respect, and dignity.
