Agrologies- Agricultural Technologies
Agrologies, short for Agricultural Technologies, is a Greek startup that focuses on introducing automations in the agricultural sector to assist professionals in effectively managing croplands. Its initial project involves the development of a platform equipped with wireless sensors for remote irrigation control and real-time access to weather forecasts, along with on-site environmental information such as temperature and humidity. The technology incorporates Arduino units, a website, smartphone applications, GPS, and solar power for efficient crop management.
In 2014, Agrologies was honored with a fellowship at the Clinton Global Initiative University in Arizona, USA, sponsored by the Angelopoulos Foundation. Later that year, it was selected as one of the seven business ideas to be supported by the initiative “Mazi stin Ekkinisi” coordinated by ΣΕΒ & The Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas (FORTH), aiming to support aspiring entrepreneurs in the transformation of their ideas into viable business projects. Currently, Agrologies is a member of Agrient Accelerator.
Founded in 2013, Agrologies operates within the agriculture, industrial, mobile, and AgriTech sectors, with its headquarters based in Greece.
