DJJ is part of Nucor Corporation’s family of companies, the leading purchaser of ferrous scrap and the largest recycler in North America. Formed in 1977 as Galamba Metals Group and headquartered in Kansas City, Advantage Metals Recycling became a part of DJJ in 2008 and now operates 11 facilities, making it the largest scrap recycling company in Kansas and Missouri.
