Ach.Brito
Ach.Brito is a leading manufacturer in the wellness and beauty industries, with a rich history dating back to 1918. The company traces its roots to the foundation of Claus & Schweder in Oporto in 1887 by Ferdinand Claus and George Schweder. In 1918, brothers Affonso and Aquilles de Brito established Ach.Brito, and in 1925, they acquired Claus & Schweder, combining innovation with decades of experience.
Under the leadership of Achilles de Brito’s great-grandchildren, Aquiles and Sónia, the company underwent restructuring and portfolio repositioning, setting the stage for a new era of expansion. The introduction of new distribution networks and products solidified Ach.Brito's market leadership. In 1994, the company ventured into new markets with the luxury brand Claus Porto, marking a significant milestone in its evolution.
In 2015, a new administration brought forth ambitious expansion plans, focusing on design, market consolidation, and internationalization. This marked a pivotal moment for the company, leveraging its 130-year legacy to propel it into new realms of success.
