1D Lab

1D Lab is a French cooperative society (Scic) founded in 2012, with a mission to strengthen the distribution and remuneration of independent creations through digital services and resources. The cooperative, built with the collective energy of various stakeholders, advocates for a shared governance of projects and collaborative experimentation. With over 48 members and approximately 20 collaborators, 1D Lab focuses on innovative cultural developments and has introduced the digital resource kiosk DIVERCITIES. This platform promotes cultural diversity, territories, and equitable streaming, distributing various digital offerings to more than 3000 locations globally. The impressive collection includes over 5 million works and gathers approximately 100,000 users. Additionally, the "Future divercities" project, supported by Europe Creative, marks 1D Lab's expansion into the European region.
